Present moment relating® is a partner based exercise developed by Jean-Luc Boissonneault to help people become self-aware of their body’s subtle sensations and thus having the ability to tune-in to indicators of stress before it turns debilitating.

When people become burnt out it is because these signs from the body that are ringing like alarms are not being felt and/or been ignored.

PMR helps train your self-awareness with the help of others to detect these signs early on so you can learn to do something about it.

Maybe what you discover when tuning in is as simple as needing to take a few deep breaths or maybe going for a walk.

But out of this ability to detect your subtle sensations PMR will start to teach you what you feel and ultimately what you need in every moment.

Awareness precedes change

PMR is performed with two or more people online where each person takes turns naming elements of the present moment.

The facilitator starts by creating a safe container and explaining exactly what that means using the 5 elements of PMR.

What you can expect after is a deeper sense of calm and a new awareness around your body.

This exercise moves your attention from the logical part of the brain that is often over active to the primal part where you can instantly signal your amygdala that you are safe.

This helps calm the nervous system and helps you move from our fight, flight and freeze responses to harmony and clarity again.

We use zoom or the any other program an organization uses to create these groups online.
